Ending with a ‘Great One’! I didn’t collect these; colorful/cool. Of course 1969/73 my favorites
I think John The Hammer Milner makes the photo opp
Shouldn’t the miracle, observed by so many, have earned Gil Hodges sainthood? 🤔⛪️
On that last binder page I spy 53 Bowman Color Sid Gordon, I think Joe Ginsburg, Vic Wertz and maybe ?Art Houtemann. The varied subjects of tobacco cares were amazing …

What a group. Love seeing very young Koufax and Drysdale ..
You are most welcome kind sir … the Brooklyn outfield of Furillo in left, The Duke of Flatbush in center and a rookie named Roberto in right

Revisionist history can be beautiful.
Noooice. Came back to the Metsies in 74-75!
Ok I’m going to drop a Bob Miller … point of confusion, I had to go remind myself. There were 2 on the original Mets, a lefty and a righty 👇:

(&if not mistaken there was a third Bob Miller who overlapped these two hurlers in the 50s … w one team only-Phils, teammate of original Met Ashburn)
Pretty interesting that the 1907 issues and the 1912 issue have same design/artistry. Makes me want to go read that production story. Such great looking cards.
Red Hearts, yes? Here’s image copy of group w Gilliam and Minoso.
The Caribbean winter issues of Junior Gilliam (Denia? Toleteros?) and Newcombe (Caramelo) were absolutely impossible to find. Did find the Gillian’s over my 18 yrs doing it, but never SAW the Newcombe …
Excellent. Now tell me u have such an gr8 filing system u were able 2pull this run in just a few minutes … then I say all due accolades 2you

When I collected, finding a run like this would take a few hours! I remember the 55Bowman; my greatest joy was finishing 48-55 Bowman sets over a 10yr period
Do I recall 1957 Topps card featuring Mr Fernandez?
Imagine Clemente in RF at Ebbetts Field .. 😳🤯.

Here with Joe Black and a player I hadn’t heard of, Bobby Wilson
Proud of my hometown Brooklyn when you lay it out this way.
… if a social media ‘like’ could be a condemnation, then that’s my ‘like’
