My mother rented Scream in 1999 and wouldn't let me watch it. Behind her back, I watched it alone.

7 years old and the first horror movie I ever saw. I was both terrified and in love with it.

My favourite movie of all time and introduced me to the legendary Wes Craven.

Yes. I agree. That was fantastic commentary. Scream 6 is not bad. I think the story is poorly written. That's my biggest issue.

Kevin Williamson (credited as a writer of Scream 7 😍) is the ONLY person who can write those characters perfectly. Technically written and directed by Kevin Williamson.

I totally agree. I've said before, "It was like everyone had an invincibility star in Super Mario." 6 would have been a great death for both Gale and Chad.

The fundamental of the plot makes no sense when you know who the killers are.

I'm the exact opposite. 5 was amazing. 6 was a let down. Great scenes and set pieces, but plot holes everywhere. It was bad.

I'm really looking forward to 7. Trailer looks amazing. I assure you I will have a ticket for the first available screening in Feb.

I'm really trying with this one, but it's the bottom of my list of best to worst.

Didn't like the supporting characters. Nobody significant died. After the reveal, multiple plot holes. The killer motive was also derivative and boring.

Unpopular opinion but it's how I feel.

I'm an OG fan from the 90s. The absence of Jenna and Melissa isn't a big issue for me. Not really attached to those characters. I really like Mindy. Chad should have died in 6.

I've heard people say the trailer looks low budget, but I don't know where people are looking. It looks great.

If they don't do AI, I'm intrigued because I wanna know why most of the cast are dead. 🤣

Scary part is the tech is there. I find someone with roughly the same body shape as you and put your face on them. Your podcast appearances are enough to clone your voice.

A deepfake used to take weeks with a powerful computer. Now can be done real time on a video call, alongside the AI voice.

They could be doing something with deepfake technology and AI voices. That's how I think the previous killers are in the film.
