When Paul said "You don't work, you don't eat" in the Bible, he was talking to Thessalonian Christians who had stopped working because they believe the return of Jesus was imminent. These freeloading Christians ruined their witness with their behavior. He wasn't speaking to anyone else in society.

I caught some vicious, non-Covid, cooties at last weekend's market. i haven't been this sick since I did have Covid. I took some NyQuil around noon and had a 5 hour nap this afternoon. I'm going to drink some water and have a sammich and go back to bed. Say nice things about me at the funeral. 😂

If you're looking for a good movie to watch with your older kids to help them understand the rise of fascism and how resistance does make a difference, I recommend "Swing Kids." Saw it on YouTube the other night. It was really good!

So, my loved one got a notice today that she'll be getting $185 less a month from disability because social security is no longer paying for Medicare. So now, instead of getting $1,000 a month to live on, she'll receive $815 a month. Are we fucking great again yet?
