Today's @bostonglobe.com column asks an important question: if OCPF is able to fully investigate, conclude, and resolve credible allegations of campaign finance violations, should they release the findings before an election? We say voters deserve to know.

Video footage obtained by NBC News shows the moment Rumeysa Ozturk was arrested. Oztur is a Turkish national and doctoral student at Tufts University with a valid student visa, her lawyer says.

This is terrifying and yet another sign that authoritarianism is on the rise in America. Rumeysa Ozturk is entitled to due process and should be freed immediately.
