Scripted a little Godot addon to semi-automate making pretty light shafts. Super versatile, and can be used for things like holograms, flashlights, treasure chests, even UI.

I put it up for free here: github.com/CozyCubeGame...

Our first development snapshot for #GodotEngine 4.5 has arrived!

The coming of Spring (in the Northern hemisphere) has thawed the thick cover of feature freeze which held many feature PRs in stasis.

With a first harvest of ca. 400 PRs, it's time to start testing!

Trying to come up with a name and icon for the assets viewer app... For now it will be AssetsHood to keep with our non-original play on our company name...
February 26, 2025 at 7:30 PM
I couldn't find a basic and fast assets viewer for browsing and searching our growing collection.

Godot 4.4-rc1 being just released, it was time to implement one.

It's so fun how versatile Godot can be.

Given how useful it is for us, I'm thinking of releasing it to more people.
