I'm not above a quick slick "your mom" or "deez nuts" from time to time, even at 40. But time and place. Talking trash with friends while playing games vs a press conference on the movements of nations. Sharp and steep indeed.

Week 2 of my younger brother handling the distro. He's a much quieter person than me, but he comes through when needed. Still working on ways to do more with Fare Share. Hopefully this work will bear fruit.

Naw. They lie to us and say that our swimmers are basically immortal. But if you've been in a few biology classes or thought about it for a bit, it doesn't make sense. Everything degrades in time (with some exceptions). Just didn't know it happened so early in life.

This was the first time I had someone go off in my place for Fare Share. I did the usual prep, but this time after my brother finished with the sandwich assembly, he went and did the distribution.

FSK Almost Thursday
Many plates spinning at once and I'm trying to keep from dropping them all. My brother is going to try his hand at running the operation without me. This is me trying to both delegate things as well as me trying to make FSK a place people can go and get experience.

It's my 2nd year anniversary! Two years ago. Friday, September 15th 2023 I started my mission partnering with Arlington Charities. I'm looking forward to continuing that relationship as well as working with more people throughout DFW to make a web of support for the underserved.

FSK.... you know what? It's so late let's not pretend. I've been working on ways to expand this week. Looking for a kitchen to operate from, working on presentations, etc. I was low on supplies, so I finagled a solution to the cookies. The experiment was a complete success. The fight continues.

I remember. They said it in that order too. It was a major deal matched only when Cartoon Network used the What A Cartoon Show to build up their core lineup. Thinking back on it, I wish we still had that. A bunch of pilots airing in a block on a TV network is a cool idea.

Ooo yeah. I've more or less stopped eating fast food and chains. They don't have dollar menus anymore, and since I discovered how amazing hole-in-the-wall random mom n pops/food trucks can be, I make it a point to find one in whatever part of town I'm in.
