Hi, folks. I see Faine Greenwood reskeeted my cheese mite monk drabble. If you're new to this bluesky account note that I have a weirdass sense of humor and consider male pregnancy a valid way to solve demographic mathematical issues in grimdark settings where developers don't do maths properly.
But if they never turn up for whatever reason, I will not judge. I will make sure he has a safe place to stay with enough food and vet care and also Bean and Rosie to make friends with, if it comes to that.
Little Houseguest Kitten has no microchip. We have put out posters and left a notice with our apartment office and also put up "we found a cat" posts on local nextdoor pages. We will do everything we can to find his humans again, because they know best how to love him.

The broken thing about gender relations here is men who think they're entitled to women's bodies.

It's insane that culture creates expectations for young cis straight men that an ideal mate should be okay with being sexually objectified while also being their mom & placing their husband's needs over their own; then when these men can't find a partner it's the womens' fault for wanting autonomy.
THIS IS WHY I'M QUEER.

One of my most fun days on the internet ever was accidentally introducing this cover to a bunch of babies who were not alive in 1993.

If you actually read the rest of the thread you will see that I am planning to find his family.
He is complaining from the bathroom that he wants to be let out to explore and possibly climb into my bed to sleep but I'm not going to do that until he's been checked out by a vet.
PS: I have left the bathroom light on, but the top flaps of the box are arranged such that he can retreat into the darkness of the box if he so wishes.
Pretty much the distribution system at work.
Usually she plays a tiny bit rough with Bean because he gives as good as he gets. But with this newcomer she just put her nose up to his and let him sniff her first. She's such a treasure. I suspect she's going to want to surrogate mom him if he gets to stay.
Beancat is curious, but little dude is a little sus about Strange Big Male Cat who could take exception to him. He's even more sus about Rosie, who is big stinky dog he doesn't know.

For her part: Rosie's reaction was "TINY CAT BABY. I didn't know they came that small! Must be extra gentle!"
It has dropped to 38 in the daytime in recent days so this buddy was probably very uncomfortable out away from his humans. It's nice and warm in here and I tucked his improvised bedding in a box so it has high sides to trap heat.

The wife already has a nickname for him. >.>
He has had many, many cuddles and reassurances that tomorrow we are going to take him to the vet to see if he has a chip, and that I'm going to do everything I can to find his family. I told him we would never turn him out into the cold, that he has a safe place to stay while we find his folks.
I have a belief that the cats we love and lose to age and illness leave a mark on us that other cats can smell. And that mark says "this human is good to us. This human loves us. You can trust that human."

This is the only explanation I have for j.random cat basically jumping into my arms.
I have also doled out the ritual churu and greenies, and he likes them both quite a bit. I mean... if we don't find his humans, then I will take him in. We do have room in the home and the budget for another kitty.

But I hope we find his humans. He's clearly very loved.
He clearly is someone's cat. Unfixed.

We're going to have him checked for a chip and keep an eye out for lost cat posters, and I hope to reunite him with his humans. He's so obviously lovey and sweet that I'm sure he was raised by humans.
He's eating like he's missed a few meals, but not enough to make him scrawny. He smells very clean and also is very lovey and cuddly. He's suspicious around Rosie but will let me carry him to her so she can sniff him gently.
We have him settled in the bathroom with food and water and a box with a towel in it for a bed. There is a litter pan for his use in there, and a sink to curl up in if he wants to, and the toilet seat is down to prevent misadventure.
I was frying up some beef for dinner when I hear the saddest cat wails outside my door. I told the wife, "I'm going to check, ok?"

The moment I unlock and open the door, this little fellow runs in and jumps into my arms, and starts purring.

the answer is JD Vance fucks your wife

“Why do they keep voting Republican?”

Because in places like Texas, Republicans have made it virtually impossible for Democrats to win, so people don’t vote.

Meet bob the red velvet mite
Bob has an interesting love life, since he courts Bobbies by building love gardens... except when he invades another Bob's love garden and ejaculates all over it instead. >.>
