Today, Members of Congress got their paycheck unless (as I did) they wrote a letter to the House saying to withhold the pay pending the shutdown.
Meanwhile, Congressional staffers went without pay today.
Every member should answer whether they took the paycheck while their staff got nothing.

This is indeed incredible. “Conservative judge” doesn’t quite cut it as a description of Wilkinson. He is one of the most deferential-to-government-power judges in the country. When he writes like Justice Sotomayor it’s signs-and-wonders level.

Probably not a popular opinion here but I see this as a plea for help. She is the only R who will even admit the problem. Lots of Rambo’s out there but what happened to Pelosi’s husband and Shapiro is real. If necessary she needs security and maybe some encouragement to switch parties.
