It’s Obra Dinn. Obra Dinn gives you a structure to work in that makes you feel like you’re smart even if you’re not *that* smart. It’s baffling that more AA/AAA games have not folded it into their games RPing ‘smart’ characters. (Even tho I’ve been pitching them for years.)

i do think the "just make your game" philosophy is really good not because you will get overwhelmingly closer to your game being real but the improvement you felt you needed to make before you "just made your game" will happen in the process of just making your game

had a dream nintendo released a mario 64 "director's cut" w/ a peach side story where she's trapped in the paintings/gets a plumber's outfit to do platforming in.
the dialogue was abstract/kingdom heartsy and she kept going on abt the water world she was lost in.
