I went to a different location of my grocery store chain and it was full of madness-inducing alien geometries, loathesomely redolent of spheres and dimensions apart from ours. I did not find the tortillas.

At Games Club of Maryland’s EuroQuest con. Got there kinda late on Friday, so only got in 11 plays of 9 different games. I’ll try to so better today. #boardgames

In my haste to get back to Sky Team for some quick solo play, I failed to reread the rules, so misinterpreted traffic die icon & played HAN on hard mode, with 4 planes in the first space. Beat it on the 12th try & then bounced off OSL 5 times (w/ 6 traffic!) before realizing my mistake. #boardgames

High Tide was reviewed by The Dice Tower!

“This game looks incredibly cozy!”

“I would argue it is a potato chip game—in the sense of ‘okay I messed up, let’s try again!’”

“The discovery space in this is much larger than I expected it to be.”

“Okay, I *would* play this at the beach!”

Moytura is the fourth title in Bitewing's Mythos Collection. As two clans race to control Ireland, they face pushback from the wild corners of the island, creating a world that's intriguing and desperate. My review: spacebiff.com/2025/09/24/m...
Real Moytura, Guys
I’ll confess it was a little surprising to unfurl Moytura’s board and see such a literal depiction of Ireland. After the suffocating hoplite melee of Iliad, the checkerboard Mount Olymp…

401k means 401 thousand boardgames right? When are they going to start large print versions of my favorites games so I can enjoy them in my old age in the retirement home?

Another PSA to please identify board games you post by name, and to not assume everyone knows them by sight (or can see the image at all).

I don't want to play a home-brew version of Connections whenever I see posts that neither identify the board game nor use Alt Text.

Pneumonia upsides:
1. Had plenty of time to read The Game Changers by @timclare.bsky.social.
2. Replaced doomscrolling with gamescrolling the board game feed on Bsky.
3. Coughing really works that core.
4. Cats & dog are sympathetic.
5. Beacon Patrol scores are up.
