I genuinely feel like there shouldn’t be a deck in Pokemon that can make you win without your opponent getting a turn. Brute Bonnet needs an addendum that makes it not able to use its move on the first turn.

I enjoyed Ironheart, a lot. It was fun and did a lot of interesting things. Sacha Baron Cohen was an incredible choice. Big Full Metal Alchemist inspiration

Farigiraf is such a perfect canvas for themed hoods 🥺 My two faves coming together. Starting to feel more confident in my arts! #farigiraf #umbreon #shiny #pokemon #stickers #art

It’s wild how such a Mid Anime beat Frieren, DanDaDan, Apothecary Diaries, Delicious in Dungeon and Kaiju No 8. It’s the equivalent of CBS’s “FBI” winning TV Show of the year against Shogun, Hacks, X-Men 97, The Penguin and Fallout

Polygon genuinely got me to change majors in college to Journalism. They are one of two publications that made me love writing and shaped the person I am today. Vox has done a disservice to games journalism, but I am confident that the individuals that made Polygon amazing will do it again elsewhere
I'm no longer with Polygon. If you're hiring, please consider the many talented writers and editors now on the market. Every one of them deserves a spot on your staff. I won't be talking more about the sale because I wasn't involved.

Going to hang out with my kid. Taking wins where I can.

I love Daredevil, but I had to suspend disbelief over the premise of Born Again re. Mayor Kingpin. The idea that voters would knowingly elect a convicted criminal who then subverts the rule of law and uses government to carry out personal vendettas seems a little far-fetched, doesn't it?

I see no clear path to coming back from this. Those with the power to hold the administration accountable have sat on their hands so long that a precedent has been set. There’s no reason to believe that always giving a violent toddler what they want will result in nonviolence as an adult

Hey #hbo can you just release the episode of The Last of Us early? I’m REALLY sleepy and would love to go to bed early, but I gotta watch it. It can just be for me, I won’t tell anyone

Instead of going down the rabbit hole today, I practiced drawing(A skill I have always envied others for honing). So I present my freehand Dandadans and reimagined Teru Hanizawa

I’m playing Pokemon Crystal in earnest for the first time in 15+ years and I have a ton of thoughts and feelings about this franchise, but more interestingly, in me as a game player. I know the retrospective field is crowded, but I think I am going to put down these thoughts somewhere.
