The point of first person is not to insert yourself into a narrative. You are supposed to experience and empathize with the perspective of a character that is intended to be fully fleshed out.

I usually hate the "queerphobe is secretly queer" argument, but it would actually surprise me if Glinner isn't a sissy repressor publicly acting out his kinks while attacking trans women out of envy.

if youre trans and youre struggling to justify why you as a person should be allowed to take up space in the universe just consider that by your sheer existence you make a lot of the worst people on earth mad enough that they will die early deaths from stress. so thats a p good reason
