Only 2 in 10 students w #dyslexia got a grade 5+ in English & maths GCSEs, vs over 5 in 10 without SEN. That’s a 30+ point attainment gap.

Great news these terrible powers will be scrapped - unaccompanied children and young people should not be put in detention! Well done to all who campaigned for this repeal!

1.7 million children have SEND in England, including many with #dyslexia.

The Public Accounts Committee in its latest report that the SEND system is "in disarray", "mired in red tape, lacking funding, and failing to produce value for money". tinyurl.com/3rkj6uh2
