I asked Codex to fix several files which were not compiling. It deleted the content of each file and replaced it with a message "... temporarily disabled while syntax is updated." 🤦🏻♂️

Been vibe coding a new programming language for the past month, for fun. Each LLM has been involved until they all crash or fail. Switched to local Ollama, told it to review the repo. It's first response: "What a massive and complex project!" 😂

Tried using #GPT5 yesterday and today for coding. Not great; I had to switch back to Claude Code (Sonnet 4). A few notes about GPT5:
- Very slow
- Refuses to test the code it generates. Cannot run tests or REPL in my environment. Sandboxed?

Tried using #GPT5 yesterday and today for coding. Not great; I had to switch back to Claude Code (Sonnet 4). A few notes about GPT5:
- Very slow

Attended Tampa Bay Technology Leadership Association's Hackathon this evening as a Mentor thanks to an invitation from my friend. Congratulations to the winners and partisipants! Very creative presentations many utilizing A.I. It was also nice meeting new people and catching up with old colleagues.

I asked ChatGPT 4o to translate a DSL parser/tokenizer I wrote into another language. It generated partial results. I ask it to generate complete results, it apologies and generates partial results again 🤦🏻♂️

I’ve been using #ChatGPT o1-preview this weekend. I’ve concluded it’s not any better at coding. Still makes stuff up. Keeps going round and round. Only difference is it’s more verbose now
