Saw jokes about really long mortgages and that's how I learned trump proposed 50 year mortgages.

I have two fantasy football teams that are a combined .500 which isn't bad but it's quite funny that they got there being 8-1 and 1-8.

You do not, under any circumstances, have to hand it to shoe
The Mayor of New York only makes $260k. I bet there are police that make more than that in NY with overtime.

We need to pay elected leaders more money and stop pretending it's some sort of calling. They're managing hundreds of billions of dollars in investments and millions of people's lives.

It's worth noting that Elons trillion dollar package is contingent on sales goals and appears to be all stock so people could just not buy anything from them

I once had a job I absolutely hated. Like, had to actively talk myself into going each day hated. A job so bad that it makes you question your life's decisions.

I like to think there's a portion of elected republicans living through an even worse version of that daily. The idea makes me smile.

Oh all the elections I wouldn't read much into I would especially not read much into a young, handsome and charismatic socialist beating a comically corrupt and universally hated opponent for mayor.

My mom was over for dinner tonight (sorry for taking her availability) and election night came up and I mused that it's a bit funny how in 2020 we knew trump sucked and turned out but then by 2024 we apparently forgot.
