Just had a literary festival try to assuage my concerns about their workshop with a “decolonially trained AI” by assuring me the AI isn’t getting paid for their session, as if my concern was grounded in the pay scale for the robots

So many want to bypass the actual process in order to get the acclaim of being an artist. The acclaim of being a filmmaker. Get the accolades & praise but don’t want to have to actually think and create from scratch. That’s why you’re so keen on AI. You want praise for the art but not to do the art.
Like- we've got you a gig, but we won't say exactly where? Like being a really crappy temping agency, but for DIY gigs.
She could also try painting the metal with clear nail varnish. I’ve had to do that with buttons on clothes a few times.
