I remember the horror in my class in high school history when we learned about prisoners in Japanese POW camps being locked in boxes with not enough room to stand. I guess some people weren’t as horrified as others
They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.

Health insurers are jacking up premiums while raking in billions in profits.

Expiring ACA subsidies will saddle millions of Americans with massive monthly premium increases.

Is it any wonder that 63% of Americans now support Medicare for All?

We're half a decade into studies finding that improving airflow in classrooms will reduce disease transmission enormously, and that bleaching surfaces etc. does very little. And yet nothing changes. Waves of flu and colds wash over schools, and the schools pretend it's an act of God.

Now she’s facing cancer herself, and because ACA subsidies won’t be extended, she is losing her healthcare.

Her costs are going up for $49,000 a year.

This isn’t healthcare, it’s eugenics.

Medicare for all.

This is why the President shouldn’t get away with calling female reporters “pigs”
