Difficult to conceive of a clearer red card than this. Shoulder to the head ... red card.

For anyone with a spouse who is not a US citizen, the US is a deeply dysfunctional society at war with itself.

There it is. Our national broadcaster living in fear of the most openly corrupt US president in American history. This is where the British patriots on the right have got us.
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

I went to immigration court in Seattle to observe the kids docket. These children, some as young as three years old, are expected to understand complex legal processes and represent themselves in court.

That’s not due process.

This is why the billionaire media-owning class are the biggest threat to humanity.
Daily Mail once again battles against fact because the "consensus that the drive to renewable energy leads to ... high energy bills instantly collapses the moment it makes contact with ... the real world."

We spent a year investigating billionaires for @washingtonpost.com.

We found: the wealthiest 100 Americans gave $1.1 billion to influence the 2024 elections — 140x more than they did in 2000. And almost all of that giving boosted Republicans.

Almost all problems in Welsh rugby stem from the abject failure of the WRU to understand what their role is. They think their job is to control the game, but their real job is to grow the game. That means attracting investment. By focussing on the former, they are effectively scuppering the latter.

This R360's a bit of a joke, isn't it? So many meaningless games, players jetting all over the place, no links with the roots of the game and all to make a few bucks.

This sets up a class of people are will always be outsiders and not part of society.

Racism is the bedfellow of elitism and sits so well with the UK class system.

In RU, yellow cards see players banned from the pitch for 10 min. If a player receives a red card, their team is permanently reduced to 14 players. So when World Rugby introduces a new card which sees a 20 min ban, why on earth do they insist on *also* calling that a red card?

25 yrs ago Welsh rugby was offered 4 teams in an Anglo-Welsh. The WRU turned down the offer because they wanted Ebbw Vale to join the league as well. Now they're turning down 2 teams in an Anglo-Welsh when 1 of the current 4 has won 3 away games in the last 4 years & the other doesn't have a ground.

You can disagree and argue as much as you like but the point of evaluating something scientifically is that not every statement should be given equal credence because evidence matters
JD Vance: "Science as practiced in its best form is that if you disagree with it, then you ought to criticize it and you ought to argue against it."
