I'm Gaby, and I post mostly for fun. I have a PhD in Digital Exclusion/Digital Service Access experience, and currently work as a change manager/digital workplace consultant.

With all the AI chatbots for customer service I don't even know anymore if I'm being polite to a real person or not.
Also, if AI bot, would it be kinder and more helpful to people who are kind in their engagement, and will it be obtuse to those who act like entitled arseholes?

We ordered two this year so we didn't have to share each bottle, and can just enjoy the full drink each day.
Might also mean we'd have to set up the Christmas tree at some point, which still feels too early... (I know @tallywipkip.bsky.social 😂)

Homebrew tonight. My personal fave and own recipe, a gorgeous French Saison. It really is such a good brew and I'm proud of it. And it'll taste even better around Christmas!

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

It's weird almost we're building a social life where phones and pictures aren't a thing. Absolutely wonderful evening at the local club eating chestnuts celebrating "Magusto" with lots of moonshine and wine and laughs and nobody to document it. Back to basics and all that.

Kicked my arse out of the door in between the rain. Did the 6km lap with the BIG Hill and managed to run with 5.57min/km! Huge improvement compared to the first time I did it with 6.48min/km! 🤘my metal play list kept me proper going 🤘 #running #RunningPunks

At the point where I'm getting more and more tempted to just upend my entire working life but I have not yet decided how and in a way that helps me pay the bills and save up for some sort of retirement (my work luck/history has got me with a dire retirement plan so far...). Ugh. I hate capitalism.
