Or Sylvanas, or Fandral Staghelm, etc. There are so many people (some still in the narrative) that -could- deserve the same fate, but don't. If they want to have a specific character in a story moment do it, sure. But it shouldn't be my daily quest to go piss on an iconic character's grave.
I guess I also have to say this these days, but if you think my opinion of Garrosh Hellscream the Orc in World of Warcraft the Video Game reflects any belief I have in real life, I must remind you of something called ✨Fiction✨.
I think most people with a brain in the skull will get you.

It’s an incredibly hamfisted obtuse quest that is clearly there just as a dev’s personal commentary. There has never been that kind of disrespect for any other villain in wow history. It feels so off for the setting.
Shitting on a grave feels SUPER not Warcraft. There are plenty of worse people on Azeroth that got/get to become heroes in their own right.

But I suppose he wasn’t elven, girlpowery, or old enough for that kind of writing 🫢.
This is so good! Very good use of the jaws.
They could never make me hate you, Garrosh. You’ll always be my yam Warchief.
Like I love a good land dispute story in fantasy, but I feel like the interesting nuances of that generational story fizzle out if the Revantusk don’t have any legit claim to the land and moved there just because. I feel that’d be an odd recontextualization to make.
This is a “looked too much into it” takeaway from me I feel, but the “they moved from our lands” line feels like it’s planted to give a morally justified reason for the conflict in Aerie Peak as those Revantusk would be invasive rather than ancestral denizens.
Nah man, ain't no way we're desecrating my boy Garrosh's grave, and Sylvanas get's let off the hook.

I'm toppling Windrunner spire when we get there.

cerathiel always feared death so much, that he has collected artifacts and relics to protect himself. going as far as killing his phoenix, and piercing his heart with its crystallized ashes, so that he may also be reborn❤️

worst cropping ever but just know ive fixed him
He turned out even better than I imagined <3

They're gonna cook some (Fel)crystal together. He'll certainly not drag Cerathiel into anything over his head.
I have nuanced thoughts about the entire Fel situation in Silvermoon, but I will say that the Thalassian gov doing shady things to their citizens is pretty on brand tbh.

They're likely what's left of the Dark Trolls, from what we can tell now. So they're basically just rehashing how the Night Elves came to be in real time.
We already had the Highborne/Zandalari. It would make perfect sense if that grand vision of themselves carried over to a new group of people that split away. Maybe they even split away BECAUSE they think they're the greatest. There were so many paths to take, that didn't need to be "oh new shiny!".
Personally the new codex isn't even the issue for me. I like when fantasy races have superiority complexes. It makes for divisive "Love them or hate them" vibes, that I think Elder Scrolls and Dragon Age do well. But my issue is Night Elves and Trolls already had that, so we don't need Haranir.
I feel vindicated in my first opinion of Haranir, from the moment we saw Orweyna, being "this is somethings Trolls or Night Elves could have been, why are these guys pulled out of their ass?".

Glad to see we're all coming around to that. I feel like I can actually say my dislike of them now.
Ngl, I'm still a little "ehhh" about Haranir.

But since I have to make one, I will make them look cool.
Thank you so much <3

I need that outfit irl for real <3

It is ok for me to finally say that I HATE that female Troll tusks come from the lower jaw? I HATE IT! It just looks so odd.

Also the idea that a species developed teeth and tusks so different in sexual dimorphism, but also they try to look/function the same? Idk, I never liked that. Not my canon.
