Neither putin nor his inner circle had to choose war. The criminal war of aggression chose them.

Any organisation Musk tries to muzzle must be providing valuable insights and is worth supporting. In addition to their work in Ukraine, very grateful for the data they collected around the Romanian elections.

My friend Adriana in Romania @ingadriana.ro shared this beautiful short film about landscape-scale restoration in the Carpathians. The project supports traditional livelihoods to support nature & is driven by and for local people.

Brilliant - and wait till you see the Carpathian sheepdog pups 💚💚💚
That's a beautiful review of life in these surroundings 🤩 Very much reflects life outside the cities, although it's changing, due to various reasons.

Violating the law and the Constitution, Trump purports to have closed Radio Free/Radio Liberty, a medium which is the source of much of what we known about Russia and the post-communist world. Stanislav Aseyev was arrested in Russian-occupied Ukraine and tortured for his reporting for Radio Liberty.
After my post about Radio Liberty, Professor Snyder asked me to expand on the idea in a short article.

Here it is (translated by Amelia Mukamel Glaser):

BBC Scotland Sports website has tthe name of the article's subject stated incorrectly 15 times within it. The German coach of the Greek team which won Euro 2004 was Ottto Rehhagel not Renhagel. “King Otto” is not a legend: it was the title of a 2002 film about Rehhagel by Christopher André Marks.

Ca. 15.000 (my estimate) gathered in Bucharest to support democratic values, proclaim Romania's place in Europe, and reject Russia and fascism. The European anthem "Ode to Joy" was sung as was the Romanian one. The crowd formed a heart for Europe with blue and white sheets lit by mobile phones

Yet on her retirement from politics the BBC chooses to continue the non-stop negativity. You have to ask who it thinks it represents - because it isn't most people in Scotland.
