I'm not able to see the #usmnt because I'm in mex city for work, but I can imagine from what everyone's saying. What's doubly striking is Mexico is playing Turkiye rn and the on-field energy and passion is palpable ....and the game is in chapel hilll

This is a disaster & the final nail in the coffin of Trump's efforts (gutting USAID, sidelining State's DRL, and slashing funds to NED) to completely destroy the US's ability to project influence through diplomacy & development. Decades of relationships & partnerships senselessly destroyed.
