Car people are just horribly entitled. They think they should be allowed to break the law just bc they think an imaginary exception applies to them, but they never grant the same level of leeway to anyone else, like cyclists, pedestrians, etc. And 31? It's supposed to be 15mph, that's nearly double

The thing I find annoying about anything to do with any attempts to change how we write even slightly is that people will say "These changes will never be accepted into official standards" and they'll also say "There is no official standard, english is a pluricentric language", pick one 😤

I think I'm gonna try to keep myself busy by seeing if I can make various pieces of technology from scratch, I need more projects and it'd be fun to practice more variety in my handiwork. I think it'd be fun to finally make a radio receiver, but I don't have easy access to lots of enameled wire

It'd be super fun to be able to chat with people in not english, it's just really hard to find people to practice with. Maybe I should make alt accounts where I don't interact with english speakers on so I can actually get opportunities to practice lol

It seems that big businesses are starting to sweat about us younger people not spending as much money as they thought we would, I think we need to keep our wallets closed this year and only spend on essentials to the best of our ability even harder. Do what you can within reason bc it's working

I think that honestly for english to have a reform, the first order of business would be to create, not choose, artificially create a dialect that the english speaking world would consider an acceptable neutral point.
