A deeply frustrating and depressing article.

The UK rightly extended the hand of support and solidarity to BN(O) passport holders in Hong Kong. We should never go back on that commitment, and the Government really should think again about their proposals.

Nonsense and offensive from the Netanyahu govt.

*Their* actions are bolstering Hamas by shredding the goodwill and support Israel rightly got after the awful attacks on Oct 7th.

A 2 state solution is the only long term way forward.

London's nightlife is on its knees, you don't feel safe checking your phone when you're walking around, and you pay through your nose in rent.

But sure, let's rehash Brexit arguments and spend time on something the Mayor isn't responsible for.

Smh.

Honoured to be a guest of the UK-Taiwanese APPG to hear from former President of Taiwan, President Tsai.

The UK & Taiwan have strong links.

In a uncertain world, President Tsai called out the threats from disinformation and provocation.

We all must support progressive democracies like Taiwan.

I think the premise of this is bang on.

Cutting WFA was - and is - ridiculously unpopular and shouldn't have happened in the way it did, but reversing course will not pay off politically - and economically would be *even more* damaging.

Look ahead, not back.

Childish, performative politics. Exactly what you can expect from the Greens.

Trump's position means the UK should step up to support our allies, not withdraw in the face of a fascist Russia.

That is what a proper internationalist Party would do.
Green Party leadership frontrunner Zack Polanski tells me the UK must now end its membership of NATO, because of Trump.

Polanski says that Trump's presidency means the "Age of NATO is over" and his party should now abandon its commitment to the alliance

Its a bold and welcome step from the Government to publish this data, getting to the root of who is responsible for crime in the UK.

Clarity and transparency are keys tools in tackling the far right, not treating everything conceivable as an "anti-migrant agenda"
EXCL: The UK Government has been slammed over plans to publish a league table of foreign criminals' offences.

The Scottish Refugee Council warned of "obvious dangers" in the data, while the Greens accused Labour of worsening the "anti-migrant agenda".
