I genuinely whole heartedly believe this, ever since I got cancer a while back my mentality with things were "I might not ever get a chance to make my stories real"
It stopped about being good or making it good, and quickly turned into "I need to do it now or else it just will never happen"

I think the fucked up thing is some parents think the government knows what's better for their kids instead of trying the best to monitor and take care of their own children. What's the point of raising a kid if you're not willing to do the work yourself
