Managed to go to Furpoc for the day, just today since surgery wasn't too long ago. But who knew so much could happen in one day! Meeting new friends, seeing old friends, dinner, watching my partners dance their night away, so much fun. <3 now I'm ready for a good, long sleep.

The way you write both the victims and the groomer is so deep. As a victim of childhood sexual assault, it's almost cathartic to see someone think the way I used to. It wasn't that bad, it was okay, I asked for it etc. It doesn't make me, or Kate less of a victim, but it adds so much to her story.

I think as someone who's self employed I forget that vacation days exist, and I've only ever taken off for illness or emergencies. I want to play Kingdom Hearts, I want to cook, and read, and crochet. And I think...I think it's time I do that. I will be back to work at the end of October.

I'm having a third surgery in less than a year next week.
A family member is in the ICU and will be until a transplant comes in.
I am stressed. And I am tired. Normally I would just take off for healing, but I need this week to just...breath. I need to relax. I need to work on my home projects.

So it's done, having surgery again on October 13th to now fix the ulnar nerve. Going to be working super hard the next few weeks to catch up and get ahead so I can relax after and not guilt myself for having comms out while I heal. Goodbye even further, social life.
