OK, the costume itself is like a 5/10 and i'm so tired from rushing to finish all day that i just wanna stay in with Thurman and relax. i am bummed, but learned a lot of sewing techniques and SFX makeup stuff in the past 6 months. i'll show you guys some pics of the result tomorrow

as somebody whose skin gets straight-up burnt by the adhesive in medical dressings etc, it's something about that glue or maybe the latex. it's very concerning to feel this reaction on a new scar

i used PVA glue to give the paint transparency – i don't think I can use water in pax paint, since the point of using it vs. straight up acrylic paint is to keep it from flaking/cracking over the latex bald cap. the biggest challenge has been the paint drying almost instantly; can't really work it

went over it this morning with a thin coat of lavender + clear pva glue + prosaide to knock back the mottled skin a bit. I'm gonna stop here, but will go over the tubile implants one last time in black. i wish i had more liquid latex and another month of time, but alas, i am all out of both

that's what I'm thinking. a translucent white wash with my Ben Nye clown paint over the cap + my real skin should hopefully match them up more or less too.
