I hope I'm still alive to see humans coexist with beavers 💚 and nurture marshland critters, instead of thinking we need one more strip mall.
We use this board as a place to list tasks for lifeguards to do between pools, but no one checks it so I've been having some fun.

I have never seen so much fighting on here as over Thanksgiving food. 😂 It's all over bluesky. Pies, what's appropriate, etc, and apparently I said quite the wrong thing about mash potatoes.

This is completely fine - it's a huge expectation for people to bring homemade food. But having said that, shoofly pie needs to be homemade. Those store bought shoofly pies are like you dug up dirt and covered it with molasses.

If your food is starting to run low this week with no #SNAP, and you have leftover meat, you can make a gravy of the chopped meat over bread or toast. Gravies over bread is one of my favorite things.
