I would tend to agree, except I see AI as just another creative tool in the pantheon of creative tools. I agree some people shouldn’t have access to it: Musk, Trump, MAGAts in general. But the rest of us need to be able to use what’s at our disposal to keep democracy alive.

-Flood the zone - so many claims, can’t fact-check all
-Appeal to emotion - “Radical Left Losers,” “FAKE!”
-Victimhood - they’re trying to suppress the truth about his success
-Grandiosity - unprecedented, the best ever
-Conspiracy - polls are fake, ads shouldn’t be allowed

Sharing Breitbart while complaining about ‘fake media’ is telling on yourself. Editorialising polling data to say what you want to hear, not what it actually means, is intellectually dishonest at best. You’re sharing “comfort food”, not news.

These are extremely complicated divorces. There are so many unknown and hidden pacts and deals (these go both ways) that getting all this out before a vote would have been smarter that buses “with we pay £350M”. People need to vote with facts, not feelings.

David wasn’t an assassin, he was a shepherd defending his people. He acted when the king and his army were paralysed. Goliath was a Philistine, not philistine. David never killed his king. Extrajudicial action isn’t the answer, channel justified anger into democratic resistance rather than violence.

US news cycle basically follows this format in a 20 minute news segment:
Local news: 10-13 minutes (cat in a tree, blown tire on 3rd)
Partisan national news: (greatly depend where we are in the country) 3-6 minutes
International news: (something somewhere where the US is involved) 2-3 minutes

I agree, but by sharing it from his official account, he’s endorsing the message: crown, “King Trump” branding, defecating on protesters. The effect is the same.

There are plenty of parallels between #NoKings and the fall of the Roman republic. Before his assassination Caesar was already dictator for life, king in all but name. Is the US there yet? Do you have a king? Remember Kings can be deposed.
