Woke piece of shit posting into the void
I know this is not the point, but it’s a fundamental misunderstanding on how reporters operate. They, in fact, ask experts as part of their reporting so they can understand and report accurately.
Q: So you didn't see any survivors after that first strike?

HEGSETH: I did not personally see survivors. The thing was on fire. This is called the fog of war. This is what you in the press don't understand. You sit in your air conditioned offices and plant fake stories in the Washington Post

If there’s an international terrorist incident, the administration will blame the “radical left,” even though they’re the ones withholding money.
Trump sent the National Guard to fight what he called "violent radical left terrorism" in Portland.

At the same time, he's been withholding millions to prepare for what emergency managers say are actual terror threats.

Trump's FEMA says its spending became "a slush fund for woke projects."
Oregon Struggles to Land Federal Counterterrorism Money as Trump Orders Troops to Stop “Terrorists” Hindering ICE
A quiet battle has played out in court over money that “sanctuary” states say is needed to fight true extremist threats from both ends of the political spectrum.

You can’t be thrown under the bus if you refuse unlawful orders.

Five officials told us that Hegseth had nothing to do with the second strike

Washpost (which broke the story 2 days ago):
“This is ‘protect Pete’ bullshit,”
and
“It’s throwing us, the service members, under the bus.”

I do appreciate Senator Bohacek speaking out, but this is hardly the first time Trump has denigrated people with disabilities, much less attempted to “isolate a population.” To support this administration is to support the strong against the weak.
Indiana GOP Sen. Bohacek on Trump's use of r-word: "When it seems quite clear we're isolating a population by use of a slur, at some point you have to speak out... it's a word used to denigrate the intellectually disabled community... you can't validate slurs like that... it's a matter of character"

I wouldn’t be surprised if the average American simply had no idea this was going on.
Van Orden: "You gotta understand that average Americans do not care about these narcoterrorists at all. They care about the fact that their brothers & sisters and mothers and husbands have died of fentanyl overdoses. That's what we really truly care about. We care about our fellow American citizens"

I’m okay belonging to the “not fun party” if it means trans people are treated with respect and dignity. I guess that means I’m “not fun.”
4. Now, newly leaked texts—published by a conservative source but confirmed as accurate from Gallego himself—suggest Gallego’s shift may not be a mere political calculation but a reflection of deeper, toxic beliefs that have become far too common in American politics.

Amazon could be part of the solution here—it certainly has enough money—but instead chooses to minimize liability. Per usual.

Senator Kelly is correct.

Plus a Public Service Announcement:

KEY section of Department of Defense's Law of War Manual is 18.3.2.1.

The VERY rule on the "requirement" to refuse illegal orders gives as its paradigmatic example of what is "clearly illegal:
"orders to fire upon the shipwrecked."

Cool, so can we refer to everyone this way? Like the president is a biological male who identifies as a man? Assuming that’s even accurate — has anyone asked him?
1. It would appear that in recent reporting, the BBC is now using the phrase "biological male who identifies as a woman" when they mean to talk about a transgender woman.

This is an incredibly demeaning way to talk about transgender women in news pieces.

I grew up on generic. Kraft-brand macaroni and cheese was a treat we only got when it went on sale. So, yeah, it does suck that Walmart made the dinner cheaper by switching to generics.
Hassett: "On one of the Sunday shows, the anchor criticized the fact Walmart said the Thanksgiving dinner is cheaper by about $10. Then he said, 'Oh yeah, but they substituted generic stuff,' as if having a generic something is a crime for ordinary folks! It shows how out of touch these people are."
