Every 3 weeks or so students get a blank piece of paper returned to them that they "mindmap" their reflections on throughout the year. They get 5-7 minutes to add to it, then I take it back up until the next time. (I don't read them!)

Several years into doing this, zero regrets.

This is the end of science in the US it is a MASSIVE crackdown an literally everyone this racist bullshit would stop basically all science in its tracks and allow the administration to deny funding to basically whoever they wanted to

Moreover, ICE must be destroyed

If “affiliated with” means “citizen of,” then effectively every single American health scientist, including the vast majority of current graduate students, would no longer be able to conduct public research.

In mathematics, I have a hard time thinking of people who *don’t* have any Chinese collaborators or graduate students or postdocs. This proposed law is xenophobic and will also decimate mathematics.

That the email dump about Epstein has prompted approximately zero statements of "Oh my gosh! I didn't realize my close associate was roped into this! Let me give back their money and renounce them!" tells me everyone is looking to disclose this info in a way that makes them feel no pressure.

160 Palestinians from Gaza landed in South Africa and had to wait 9 hours to be let in, due to Israel not having stamped their passports. 70 were eventually let in to South Africa, while the rest had visas for other countries.

I've put it off too long

In three days we won't have money for heating fuel, feed, or groceries. We're basically fucked. I need a goal of $2000 by the end of November, about $500 of that needs to be immediate, and we've never made a goal before.

Please help.

The unspoken assumption behind “raping 15 year olds is different than raping 8 year olds” is that teenage girls are legitimate targets of desire on account of (sometimes) being adult shaped. But if the adult shape was the source of attraction, and not the vulnerability, these men would date women.

This is far worse than anyone expected.

Trump's HUD plan would cut *two-thirds* of permanent housing and push as many as 170,000 formerly homeless people back onto the street—redirecting funds to work mandates, forced treatment, and encampment sweeps.

All as mass internment camps are being built.

no see using these photos would be beneath the Times, which would never take material from a dubious source, unless it was, say, hacked documents showing that a guy born in Africa had put 'African-American' on his application form for a university he didn't get into. You know, something important.
Can we circle back to the part where the NY Times never disclosed that they have incriminating information on Donald Trump from sent by Epstein that's been sitting on their email servers for nearly a decade?
