READING MARVEL’S THE CHAMPIONS (1975): The team that never was. A couple weirdos meet up in LA. Weirdness ensues. #comicreview #marvel #booksky
What in the word of the day is this book?
"But the thoughts in his brain were too much of a thicket. A thicket with thorns." (FNAF Movie Novel Page 211)

Wait, don't thickets already have thorns? The prose, I swear.
Testing out drawing my old fursona I had commissioned years ago to use as my character for some videos. Might be fun bringing this little guy out again.
The only thing I can glean is maybe people were afraid of picking the wrong manga, but that just raises further questions. I’m happy people are getting into manga and utterly confused what about manga is intimidating.
Booktok has discovered One Piece which is cool. What’s strange is hearing how it’s many booktokers first manga cause “manga is intimidating”. How is manga intimidating? It’s unusual when you’ve heard so much discourse about how easy manga is to comics.
This week has been the revenge of the AFC as they have won every inter conference matchup between the NFC so far. If Steelers take the win all eyes will be if the chiefs can keep up or stumble tomorrow.
When the local library is having a book sale and you cannot deny when the cover is giving! Werk!

What is this, like the 12th game where you expected one team to win convincingly only to see them lose? Upsets continue in the NFL. Who Dey?
The Bills just lost to a Falcons team that lost to the Panthers, who lost to the Jags and Cardinals, and the Bucs, who lost to the eagles who lost to the giants who lost to the Saint.

None of these records make “sense” unless you realize it’s football being football. Chaos.
Chat! They are giving voices to the Toy Animatronics in FNAF 2. With Matt Pat and Megan Fox... god have mercy on us all, I didn't think they could top the 80's fort building montage. It's gonna be a surreal experience.
This, water ship down, and the plague dogs as the trifecta of teenagers discovering “animations but for grown ups”
Look at this! Did anyone expect these teams to be where they are now five weeks in? What will this look in a few weeks?
Oh shit! Go jags! It’s chaos this season in the nfl! The league is open boys!
It’s so funny the series ended like woody’s roundup
This is why reading old comics is great. One minute you’re reading a superhero yarn the next you’re in a fourth wall break with the writer! Source: Green Lantern Vol. 2 #29

The only person to blame for the cardinals losing was that terrible kicking decision. Kick the ball in the zone

Gentle reminder that in the late '50s, the U.S. government did not censor comics. Comics companies censored themselves.

Not sure why that crossed my mind today but there it is...
We’ve forgotten how to take criticism. We shrunk our will to get up when something hits hard. Begging to be cuddled by stans who don’t hold us to better standards. We need to being criticism back and stand behind it.
Can’t hold up a mirror if we break them all first!
