Only issue with this issue and the series so far is peices keep being added to the board when I think it should be mostly set. The Maker is almost here and we're still on what feels like a shaky foundation. Also want more time with the players we know before everything goes Boom.

I guess it's just wait and see. In most cases, I'd be more in your camp (the MC not playing a part in the big crossover is strange), but since like issue 10 Mei has to be my favorite over Hisako, her plot has a little more drive to it. But there's still six months to go, so that could change.

The thing I wonder is, has this been Mei's story all along? I haven't read the most recent issue of UXM, but it seems like Hisako might be going down a darker path. Maybe Mei is the secret protagonist?

It is so cool to see Maystorm among the pack. Her journey in Ultimate X-Men has been surprising and well-earned. Looking forward to seeing how they wind down the Ultimate Universe. Maybe we'll see a merging of the former one? It'd be nice to see that version of Jessica Drew again. #Marvel

Only real gripes with Dead Reckoning are I wish a couple of the characters got a little more time to be fleshed out. They work but are very surface level. And while I loved the set pieces, some just go on a little too long. Had the same criticism of the helicopter chase in Fallout.

Dead Reckoning was a massive disappointment for me but the Final Reckoning delivers a satisfying and fitting end to the MI franchise. Lots of tear jerking moments and phenomenal setpeices. Love the physical and emotional challenges this film throws Ethan's way.
