It seems my Blue Moon and Moon Flower candles....SOLD at Sam's! I didn't get a good deal on that but it's ok. Honestly, I didn't even break even on the glass. But...they sold! I went up there yesterday morning to get my cigs as I do almost every morning and almost every morning I check the number of my candles left in stock.

It never ends. That's the conclusion I've come to. This is just never going to end. Ok. Wait. Stop. Backup. It MAY be coming to an end as the emails are not so numerous any more. One can hope although I'm torn between the differing points of view my beloved Red and Andy hold on the subject of Hope. Now that I've come down off the shipping nightmare and dealt with a few more of those damn scammers...another of which who just would not go away. Yet, I was the 'unprofessional' one. Yeah. Ok. But it's the end of the season, and time to start turning in the gardens and making the last of what we can. We have so much hot sauce!

Not sure if this still true but Once Upon a Time the motto of the United States Postal Service used to be "We Deliver For You". HOW they 'deliver' seems to be open to interpertation. Just thought I'd let you know... Got in touch with AccessHealthCT.com today via their Chat thing. That's after trying to follow the directions that I managed to find to "Report Changes". Every time I clicked that link...the damn thing told me to sign in. I am signed in! Anyway it ended up just being one big loop over and over and over until I wanted to scream.

I don't go to any great lengths to hide our current financial situation here. Hubby and I have both been unemployed since spring this year. He's smart enough to have not worked a church so he gets Unemployment Benefits and I get jackshit. We are an aging couple. We have our health problems and medications are necessary. Earlier this year I applied for Medicaid and got it.

This post is very apt to be long, rambling, confusing, anger inducing, thought provoking, possibly (very) darkly humorous, and basically just me getting all this shit out somewhere...anywhere....so it doesn't eat me alive. I am really coming to loathe this AI thing. Not that I ever actually liked it. I will not allow 'Siri' into my home or anything else like that. In fact, I hate hubby's Xbox because it's always listening. It is not. No? Then how come every time you say "Xbox turn on"....it freakin' turns on? You know, if it's not always listening?

The perils of shipping with a one person "business".

Hubby and I have been gardening, in one form or another, for the last 32 years or so. We started with a very tiny patch in our second-to-last apartment and just continued with it for the most part. We did let it go for a few years but took it up again with zest and zeal about five years ago.

I came into the stats on the site this morning to see my small number which is no surprise. What was a bit surprising was no one...at all...read my post yesterday. Like...no one. That is very weird. No matter. I went to my stats. I looked down the page and my eye caught on 'downloaded files' where it read "Dark Illusions".

Well, it's all over but the shouting...and three book titles that I won't know until Sept. 1st. Before I start here, my campaign ended early on FB due to a payment glitch. I tried and tried and tried and tried to pay them the second half of the money due and....no go. Nada. Which is weird because I purposefully tried it like 5 minutes after I ordered Chinese food online wherein I had to use my actual card information (I also purposefully picked this restaurant for this purpose...did I say 'purpose enough?).

Man, I hate Amazon. Deep down in my heart I truly do. But, it's 2025 and we're all stuck with that bald bastard. I can BUY stuff elsewhere and I often do but I'm still a Prime Member (you may be too). If you're an author you must be on Amazon. Because it's THAT huge. You must be there! Case in point:

We're about halfway through our little marketing campaign on Book Cave, FB/Instagram and Amazon. Not gonna lie here....we haven't made a single Kindle sale. Not one. I am not surprised but I am a bit deflated. I haven't checked the other retailers, I suppose I could be surprised over there. Probably not as surprised as when I looked at the FB (Meta) breakdown for how my little campaign is doing there.
