After our upcoming Terry Allen incited anthology we were gonna cool it for a bit on our music-incited anthologies because we have a lot on our publishing plate here.

But eff it. Right now the world needs all the inspiration from Woody Guthrie it can get.
Friends we need an organization or writers conference for our fiction. I call on my brothers and sisters in southern, Appalachian, western, and southwestern literature to band together and create an annual event in the vein of Bouchercon. There’s no reason not to.
