Farewell David Lynch. He gave us films and TV that no-one else could have. He had a singular vision. As Martin Scorcese said: "He put images on the screen unlike anything that I or anybody else had ever seen—he made everything strange, uncanny, revelatory and new".

Went to see Nosferatu today. I kind of expected to like it as I've liked all of Eggers' film's so far, but it exceeded my expectations.
An absolutely beautiful film, the production design and cinemtography was exquisite. It felt like everything had been thought about, such great imagery. (1/2)

Watched a Ghost Story For Christmas that I hadn't seen before yesterday: Stigma, from 1977. A sparse slice of contemporary folk horror/body horror.
Pretty effective but it didn't quite feel like it fits with the others in the series.
