It's hard to explain to normies how much effort Trump is putting into anti-trans policies.

This is like the 12th thing just this week. And there were 12 things the week before, and 12 things the week before that. There will be 12 things next week.

This is almost everything the government is doing.
BREAKING: Trump administration plans to end prison rape protections for trans & intersex people, memo says. A DOJ memo says certain standards under the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) do not align with Trump’s Jan. 20 anti-trans executive order, @byadamrhodes.bsky.social reports.

We're mad about the ban because censoring art is bad even (especially) if you don't like it or find it objectionable
Horses shows "abuse, gory imagery (mutilation, blood), depictions of slavery, physical and psychological torture, domestic abuse, sexual assault, suicide"

It also implies someone is r*ped until they die. It's implied someone comitts necrophillia on the corpse.

Why are we mad about this ban?

On the day that @opb.org CEO Rachel Smolkin posted this video, saying OPB’s funding gap of $5 million was closed, I was also told by the Chief Content Officer that Hush was canceled. Eighty percent of my income, and my health insurance - gone. I was given no reason for the cancellation. 1/x

OPB has closed this year’s $5 million budget gap created when Congress ended federal funding. Our work is not done. A strong future for free and fair journalism requires your support.

Charlestown, Virginia Dec 2, 1859

I, John Brown, am now quite certain that the crimes of this guilty land will never be purged away but with blood. I had, as I now think vainly, flattered myself that without very much bloodshed it might be done.
Abolitionist John Brown was executed by the state of Virginia on December 2, 1859.

One of the things that made America great - to the extent it was ever true - was the myth that if it came to it we would kick your asses with one arm very proudly tied behind our back.

Because that’s where that arm belongs in a democracy.

Because the good guys have rules for their own conduct.

one of the disqualifying things about this is that hegseth writes this garbage as if he’s the first person in history to have ever considered these issues

The people who gave these orders and the people who followed them are all facing a lot of prison time.

One of my grandmothers had dementia that came on a lot like this. An uneven weakening of inhibitions. In the last years of her lucidity she started snapping at people, like she just couldn’t keep the mask up. It happened gradually… then very suddenly.
When asked if there was anything "incriminating" in Epstein's emails, Trump pointed a finger in a female reporter's face and snapped. 'Quiet. Quiet, Piggy.'
