When I first saw that Family Guy clip about the guy in the Hummer, I was a little kid and didn't know why he shouted "YEAH RUMSFELD!" after merging without looking.

Anybody remember that show "True Blood"? My only memories of it are being traumatized as a kid by one scene where the vampires kill a bunch of people at a party. Have never watched any of it since. Is the show actually good?

Given what happened in Libya, Yemen, and Syria, I doubt Iraq's future would look too optimistic. There might have been a smaller jihadist presence without the 2003 invasion, but that's about the only upside I could think of.
A post-Arab Spring Iraq, with no 21st century US intervention, is an interesting hypothetical. Does it still end up as an Iranian puppet in the end? Who could know, since we did a DIY insurgency starter kit.

The embargo benefits Cuba more than it does the United States at this point. It doesn't make the island any substantially poorer than it already is, but it's an effective scapegoat for Havana and the far-left. We oughta do what the UN has been saying for over 30 years.
