Quilt fabric and yarn are cheaper than therapy, have fewer calories than chocolate, and last longer than coffee. Keep calm and create on!

OH FUCK NO.

I'm sending an email, but white women, this is y'all's moment to shine. I can't think of a better reason to need to a speak to a manager.

Inside every white woman reading this is a Karen waiting to be called into action. Lock-in, dig deep, and be a Karen for democracy!
If you’re a Visa cardholder you can let them know you won’t be any longer if they do business with fElon. I called and they said they’re taking comments at [email protected]. Maybe if enough of us complain they’ll pull the deal.
Elon Musk's X begins its push into financial services with Visa deal
Visa will enable X users to move funds between traditional bank accounts and their digital wallet and make instant peer-to-peer payments, like Zelle or Venmo.

Finding it hard to keep up with everything? I've created a new list of tools that track various Trump actions, such as regulatory changes and actions related to LGBTQ+/climate/immigration issues, executive orders (and challenges to them), and more. I welcome suggestions for additional tools!

If you are looking for an encrypted email service that isn't owned by an obscenely rich tech bro, Proton Mail is worth looking into. There is a free option plus other paid options.

When I get depressed w/ human actions, I watch National Geographic exploration series to remind myself that some humans spend their time learning and expanding their knowledge.

For those who are concerned about the federal government websites being taken down: gov docs librarians have been working on saving ALL of it since last Spring. Several groups working with Internet Archive have collected 563 terabytes of data before Jan. 20. Find it at archive.org/details/Endo....

Dramatic, chilly skies in Pottsville tonight. Clouds along the bottom look black because of the fading daylight.

15-13 in the 5th set. On Wisconsin! If I was a nail biter I wouldn't have much left. Texas A&M played a great match and all the Nebraska fans waiting for the next match were rooting against the Badgers. Women's college volleyball rocks!

Is it odd I'm hoping for measurable snow this week? I really want to see how my new-to-me Crosstrek handles bad roads!

Trying something daring: roasted delicata squash covered with sautéed onion, leftover turkey and green beans, topped with leftover cranberry sauce and pecan chips.

This might just be my favorite bread right now: Wegmans' organic sixseed bread. Bought a half loaf last trip there, maybe should have gone with the full loaf!

My hexie afghan project. Center is done but needed to figure out placement for the rest of it. Made mostly from acrylic yarn that's been given to me over the years, joined with recycled polyester yarn.
