As all this disgusting Epstein shit starts surfacing more and more, I hope we don't lose sight of the fact that apparently every major media outlet knew everything and instead spent their time money and energy attacking the trans community.

One desirable side effect of building my engine around persistent branching timestreams is that you can export any given playthrough as an XML log of everything that happened in it. Sooner or later, I want to make some good annotation tools, so you can also study the playthrough artifact in-engine.

I want to start a business to support Lisien soon, and making it a worker-owned cooperative sounds appealing

I'm not sure of the best model to work from, though

Servo, perhaps?

Part of the reason I think there isn’t as much pressure around stopping ChatGPT re: suicide/psychosis as compared to stuff like Panera Lemonade is because people are inclined to blame it on mental illness versus the tech, a kind of victim-blaming mentality that fits neatly into just world fallacy

Dear @itch.io could you please look into why my game is still deindexed for over 3 months. I haven't heard back in over a month after I was told it was seemingly a glitch. My visibility on not only that game but all my games has been severely affected and it's been really taking a toll on me ☹️

Some of you may have wondered: Why am I spending so much time on the UI of AstraX?

This is a data-driven space simulation game, like Dwarf Fortress or Rimworld. You not only explore the world through moving around, but also through its UI. Oh and I like doing it 😊

I need Democratic online types to understand that because of this, Newsom is dead to me. Dead. I'd sooner vote for an actual corpse. There is no hope, none, that he'll win me over, *because he has established he is a bad person*. There's no coming back from this. Take my advice and move the fuck on.
1. This morning, California Governor said he was in "complete alignment" with anti-LGBTQ+ hate-influencer Charlie Kirk of TPUSA on transgender sports.

He also conceded on trans inmates and gender affirming care for youth.

It's so much worse than being reported.

AltNPS's post is full of the same lurid details and breathless dramatization as their previous attempt at ICE raid erotica from a few weeks ago.

Things that AltNPS could not possibly have witnessed, and which aren't reported anywhere else.

They gutted the Washington Post. CBS. NYT. Now Teen Vogue.

The point isn't to bring in more conservatives. They've reached that saturation point.

They are killing the fourth estate and buying up the social media to control the messages we see. These were all targeted to disarm the left of truth.

Read this thread: I always try to call out anyone who cites Dworkin without disavowing pretty much everything she did in her lifetime (including help write legislation that censored queer magazines and books) and this is why.
I helped plan fucking psy-ops with both overt & crypto-radfems who worked to make radical feminism more socially acceptable in queer/trans spaces. I think the attempts to rehabilitate radical feminism & Dworkin in particular are at least partially a result of those influence campaigns.

I picked the stodgiest possible videogame genre to specialize in--Forrester's Urban Dynamics wasn't art *or* a game--because all the layers of indirection, what did they mean by this, what does it represent, how did I react and why...are *annoying*. Implementing your views in software is direct.

Public education should have nothing to do with grades or diplomas at any level. If employers want to test your aptitude, make them administer those tests, as many, in fact, do. Requiring diplomas serves only to enforce a plausibly deniable class barrier.
