just saw a part time curator job for 20k a year in central London. tbh it’s at the point now anytime a cultural institution advertises a role they may as well just say “those who require a salary to live need not apply”. every year it gets worse, and we’re seeing how arts and culture suffers for it!

The West Midlands has produced some of the best bands this country ever did - like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and so on - and being made to go on holiday as there a kid makes it very apparent why (the need to get out of there)
