My highlight of the game was our striker playing a little pass around the corner to our right back who then tried to slip in our left back who’s effort deflected on to the bar. Full backs furthest players forward spearheading the attack #nufc

The intensity we started that game with was great. Problem is away from home once we take the foot off the gas (as you must do in phases when you play an intense pressing game) we don’t seem to be able to get the press going again. At home the crowds energy sparks it. #nufc

Should have been more time played there. Ball was out of play from min 90 until 91:50. Added time will forever be my biggest pet peeve in football. #nufc

I might be in the minority but I actually think this has been a good approach to a European away day against a very inform side. Completely undone by a moment of madness from Pope and a decent goal from Marseille while we were still reeling from the first. Makes it more disappointing to me #nufc

I know we can’t expect to have it all our own way for 90 minutes , but a spell of possession since the goal would make me feel a bit better 😅 #nufc

Genuinely just baffled by how we can be so bad. Not even gonna single out individuals because everything is just bad, individual performances ? Bad, management decisions ? Bad, style of play ? Non existent #nufc

1st half wasn’t exciting but I actually thought it was a decent away performance getting back to the basics. 2nd half has been nothing short of a car crash #nufc

Can we sign some left footers in midfield and forward areas. Real bugbear of mine that the only lefty we have going forward is Hall , because when he’s not on the pitch the left flank is basically pointless. #nufc

Been really poor playing out but the frustrating part is that the goals haven’t even come from that. Two really avoidable goals , Pope could 1. catch it 2. Read the flight of the shot better and keep it out . The own goal is what it is but still avoidable. #nufc

Just rewatched the highlights from midweek. Thomas Frank said Spence was meant to be marking Schar form the corner when he decided to tie his lace instead. Watching that goal there isn’t a single spurs player marking anyone , yet we’re supposed to be believe Spence was going to mark Schar ? #nufc

If Tonali ran a marathon against prime Mo Farah , and then immediately ran 100m against prime Usain Bolt, I genuinely wouldn’t bat an eyelid if he won both. He’d probably still be ready for 90 minutes afterwards too #nufc

Ramsey looks very tidy and competent I have to say , which is nice for someone who at the moment you would say is a back up. Dying for him to get more involved in games , could be a big big player for us when he really finds his feet #nufc
