Thanks for an incredible season (and an intense cardio workout) Blue Jays. You fought all the way to the end, broke a bunch of records and had a good time doing it.

We're proud of you.
good gods I might actually die
Yes. Let's say MOSTLY decent.
Collective anxiety is right. TENSION!
Right? Time to leave it all on the field. Everyone can pitch. EVERYONE! You get three batters! And YOU get three batters!
Apparently Yesavage is warming up in the bullpen...?

I actually said that half an hour ago. "Put them all in. Put Trey in! He'll enjoy it!"

...do I get royalties?
Thankfully baseball fighting is usually milling around with growly faces.

Not sure I have the emotional stamina for this.
Right? Don't make me turn this car around!
It's crying. There's no CRYING in baseball. Fighting, eh.

(though there shouldn't be. Apology not incitement when you hit someone, dude)
Obviously, I want the Jays to win. But this has also been a truly enjoyable World Series. Good baseball, well played, by two teams who seem a) to be enjoying themselves, and b) behave like decent people.
I'm coming to the conclusion that I was not built for prolonged baseball tension.
Of course he is-- obviously it's your fault. 'Feed me! Wait, are trying to poison me?! EEeevil! I'M HUNGRY!'
Did you get lots of cuties?
I am not built for this kind of tension.
I've always resented days when you need both an umbrella AND gloves but it's particularly mean-spirited on Halloween.
He looks younger with a batting helmet on.
Oh no. It's 'Unhappy with this food' time again, is it? Poor orange muffin.
Sho-hey Oh-tahn-ee, I think. But the H is more a breath than a firm sound. And all the syllables get the same amount of emphasis.

Another way to pronounce it: "handsome and talented".
The last half inning felt SO MUCH MORE stressful than it needed to be!
I was there too! And honestly, looks like I wasn't too far away -- you're in the 200s, yes?
I wondered about that too. In some ways, being 22 might've helped - gods know when I was 22 absolutely anything was possible.
Important public announcement:
We'll be closed all day Sunday November 2nd for our semi-annual inventory count. We'll be back open for our regular hours on the 3rd.

On a totally unrelated note, on Saturday November 1st, all books will be 10% off!

(Please buy everything in the store, that way we don't have to do inventory.)
