I don't think it's good to make it out as though the administration that happened to be in charge when his asylum case was granted is to blame for the shooting, particularly when it will probably turn out to be something Trump did that motivated the attack anyway, so no need to drag asylum in.

I keep hearing about North Koreans applying to remote US tech jobs to do insider attacks on those businesses. I would love to access the data of what fake names and resumes they used to get hired. I bet you could definitively prove companies aren’t hiring for diversity.
I genuinely wonder if the reason we've been plagued by uncle stories for at least 40 years of "Well my bud didn't get a job and they told him it was because they did an affirmative action hire" isn't because the uncle is lying, but because some bloodless HR psycho just wanted them to stop calling.
