A better approach is creating realistic paths to legal status, focusing on serious offenders for deportation, and improving the system so people have safer, legal ways to come in the first place. Deportation is an easy, but not always the right answer, immigrants are still people.

I get your point about action over belief that’s fair. But religion is still rooted in belief in something divine. Without that, it’s not really religion anymore, just humanism or ethics, both great, but not the same thing.

The question of whether we call it a human being isn’t what makes abortion right or wrong. What matters is the attitude and responsibility behind the choice, whether it’s made with compassion, care, and respect for life
