Question for people more familiar with modern cars than I am - Are a car's various electronic options all programmed into an ECU but sit dormant in lower specced cars? For example, my Buick has traction control but not the various drive modes (Sport, ECO, etc.)...

With many of the snow belt waking up to the first big snow of the season don't travel if you don't have too. Keep extra space, brake earlier than you are used too. Don't drive like a dick.

Driving into Windsor, a car was passing me, and just as he was one car length in front (still in the passing lane) a deer bolted and they collided.
Had he not been passing me, the deer and I would likely have collided 🙃

Needs a new fenerr and door, new front wheel and tire. Rusted rear quarter panel.

@bustedride.bsky.social Thought you might appreciate this. Bought it in 1999 with 38k miles and sold it in 2021 with 247k miles. The clear coat had fallen off and the A/C and stereo had stopped working years go. Also, I still kind of miss it.
