Ohio State University banned the long-standing practice of students writing on sidewalks with chalk. The excuse being "complaints" - despite the ephemeral nature of chalk, which washes off in rain.
One wonders if perhaps #OSU students, now denied soft, temporary words, must now "paint" more loudly.
