i know the niners are currently 4-2 but come on. without fred they're a 9 win team. they need to step back and reload. and i'm fully comfortable with them doing so as long as lynch and shanahan are overseeing the thing. that's literally the only way it works.

i think the niners should pack it in and reload (not fully rebuild, but reload) for the next couple years. keep their picks, shed aging vets on their way out, and focus on the future.
