I’ve seen a number of people sharing this story with the comment, why didn’t he tell Stoppard, and I think the answer is probably “because people either don’t think to or think there will always be time to.” If someone has done something you admire, tell them.
I hope someone draws this wonderful story about Tom Stoppard's Arcadia and the power of the arts to help us see things differently, to the attention of our Education Secretary. Do read it, it will lift your spirits.

One oddly specific part of being siaradwr cymraeg (a welsh speaker) born & mostly raised in Aotearoa NZ:
My brain automatically reads social handles of targeted ads from Australia, as being plural 😂 Then usually files it away as “fair enough mate, I guess you do have more than one of the thing”.

The more myself I become, the more practicality delights me. Last week I bought a towel mumu a full coverage swimsuit with sleeves & everything to avoid sunburn. All my pants have a minimum of six pockets. My partner went on a trip & brought me back a themed pocket knife. I am deep in my aunty era.

The more myself I become, the more practicality delights me. Last week I bought a towel mumu a full coverage swimsuit with sleeves & everything to avoid sunburn. All my pants have a minimum of six pockets. My partner went on a trip & brought me back a themed pocket knife. I am deep in my aunty era.
