It is not misconduct to unionize, and I hope that Rockstar and Take-Two face serious legal challenges for what seems to be a very clear-cut case of union-busting.
BREAKING: Yesterday Grand Theft Auto VI maker Rockstar Games fired dozens of people, all of whom were involved in union efforts. A British union calls it "blatant and ruthless" union-busting. Take-Two Interactive says it was due to misconduct.

Here's the scoop: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Union says 30 and 40 people were terminated. Rockstar Games’ parent company cites ‘gross misconduct’

I kinda feel like, if we're going to progress as a society... we are absolutely going to have to work toward the destruction of private equity firms and the prosecution of the people people that relentlessly profit from them at the expense of * checks notes* libraries, hospitals, anything good.
Private equity destroys 200-year-old book distribution company that libraries around the country rely on and now libraries are having trouble getting new books:

they buy themselves treats because they know without drastic structural changes, those will be the only treats they get

the era of delayed gratification is over: the billionaires stole the gratification part, all they’re left with is delay
“At the same time, more than half of Gen Z members say they are struggling to make ends meet, yet a majority buy themselves a small treat, such as a pastry, coffee, or sweet, at least once a week. That can lead to overspending…”

KOSA dropping duty of care is great but this article buries a very important lede:

A bill package will be introduced once the govt reopens that is a collection of multiple bad "child safety" bills, COPPA 2.0, the Sammy Act, and the App Store Accountability Act [age verification]

The US previously waged war on Panama under anti-drug pretext, leaving carnage & mass graves country wide…

“The State Department & DEA admit virtually none of the cocaine or fentanyl in the US comes from Venezuela, but we all know this is not about drugs”!

If the US launches a war on Venezuela, it deserves to lose
The US has built up its largest presence of naval vessels in the Caribbean in decades (over 10% of its naval assets) in preparation for war on Venezuela.

this would be a near ban in all states; there’s a runway here where fighting back helps hold up falling sky for trans kids. every day matters.

& if you’re like “it’ll be fine—they’ll just wait til after trump” i want you to recall what happened to *your* body from 14-17.

This is your sign to double the fuck down, ESPECIALLY when MasterCard has less call centre workers for the holiday season.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Hasan. Hasan is a ux/ui designer and his wife Duaa taught English. They have two sons, Amir, 6 and Osama, 3. I spoke with him this morning and like everyone in Gaza his family is terrified and heard bombs all night. Help if you can ❤️

I have been charged in a federal indictment sought by the Department of Justice.

This political prosecution is an attack on all of our First Amendment rights. I’m not backing down, and we’re going to win.

I think any story about Trump's autocracy should be mostly about the people and institutions who failed to stop it. This guy isn't a political genius, everything else just happens to be rotten. 'Toddler Consolidates Power In Household' is a story about incompetent parents, not shrewd maneuvering
